**Theoretical Discussions of Art**
If we consider theoretical discussions of art to encompass the philosophy of art, they cover an extremely vast range of topics. Naturally, one cannot expect this site—with its pragmatic, production-oriented approach—to address all of them. So, what need of ours will this site fulfill in the realm of theoretical discussions?
Our aim is to approach these discussions pragmatically and, as much as possible, address topics within the philosophy of art and the nature of art that artists encounter in their artistic lives and in the creation of their works. In essence, we seek to answer questions that can resolve concerns artists may have. Of course, along this path, our primary goal is to elucidate the theories of one of the key thinkers in this field: the martyred Sayyid Morteza Avini. This is because, in the contemporary era, he successfully combined practice and theory; just as he was deeply engaged in theoretical discussions, he also played an unparalleled role in producing innovative documentaries about the war [Iran–Iraq War].
This section is organized in the form of articles, reports, and interviews. We hope that scholars and artists will accompany us on this path.
